What is the Quality Life Association, Inc.?
QLA is a non-profit nationwide association aimed at meeting the specials needs of the person with a continent diversion and to educate others of the latest advances in ostomy options.
Who governs the Association?
QLA is directed by a board of officials elected by membership. The executive officers consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and three Directors.
Does the QLA have medical advisors?
A medical advisory board is appointed by the board of directors and approved by membership that consists of a chairman and other interested, dedicated physicians who keep abreast of the latest technology relative to ostomy surgery.
Who are the members of this organization?
Membership is open to anyone interested in the Quality Life Association. All continent ostomates are encouraged to join – Barnett (BCIR), Kock, ileoanal, and continent urostomy procedures. Health care professionals, families of ostomates and others are welcome to join and to actively participate in the organization.

How much are the dues?
Annual dues are $20 single and $30 for a family. |
